We are seeking a Platform Systems Engineer, this person will be responsible for building and maintaining the integrity and security of the enterprise servers and technology systems that support the company's various operating units. The team consists of professionals with expertise in the network, security, platform and data storage technology domains. The Platform Systems Engineer position is a senior position within the systems engineer job family and is expected to provide hands-on technical engineering and thought leadership to the technology teams on a daily basis with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the business operating cycles and business unit functions.
Hands-on contributor for installation, upgrades, testing and maintenance of new and existing technology systems and solutions.
Ability to develop, implement, follow and improve processes related to the implementation and use of technology.
Partner with the development, test and production support teams to resolve issues.
Perform maintenance of technology systems to ensure proper and efficient operating conditions.
Interpret design documentation and develop specifications for execution. Must be able to build, implement and configure technology systems as part of a solution lifecycle.
Monitor and optimize the operation of technology systems.
Work with technologists, project managers and business unit members as part of cross-functional project teams.
Ensures secure operation of all Infrastructure services.
Design and implement systems to monitor, report, log and audit activity throughout the environment.
Review and communicate metrics that measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the Infrastructure environment.
Promote the evaluation and use of knowledge management processes and tools.
Mentor operations and service desk technology staff.
Promote skills growth and training throughout the environment. Adhere to negotiated service level agreements with the various user departments and enterprise business units
BASIC
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience implementing and operating VMWare VSphere hypervisor and MS Windows 2008 or newer Operating Systems in a virtualized environment using shared storage.
More than 4 years of experience with the following technologies / products:
Windows: IIS 7.5, DRS, Active Directory
VMWare: High-Availability, Fault Tolerance, VMotion, Resource Pools, Cloning and Sysprep, Distributed Switching
Experience with Cisco UCS hardware platform is helpful.
Shell scripting (PowerShell, VBS, etc)
Experience with multiple virtual clusters in multiple data centers, network configuration and management in a virtual cluster, allocation and management of shared storage in a virtual cluster.
Experience deploying, maintaining, supporting and optimizing MS Windows Operating Systems in a production virtualized environment.
Proven track record of designing, implementing and operating in high performance, mission critical environments.
Standard knowledge of Active Directory, group policy and administration.
Demonstrated ability to analyze an application to determine compute performance characteristics.
Experience in Infrastructure Support, Hardware/OS, and Networking
Strong capability with fault tolerance and disaster recovery design and documentation.
Strong understanding of N-tier architectures and proven experience with systems design required.
Strong problem solving / analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (specifically report writing)
Ability to create / define metrics that accurately reflect the current state of a given process
Ability to work varying hours and shifts; includes 24 x 7 On-Call, weekly rotation.
VCP (VMWare) and Microsoft certifications desirable

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
