Brightlight seeks a passionate Technical Project Manager / Analyst to join our highly collaborative team based out of Redmond, WA.
Key
Responsibilities:
Feed implementation support, including:
Coordinating new ETL data sources
Determining contacts who can obtain CDR spec and sample files of different network nodes being implemented
Working with contacts to establish timelines and keep customer up-to-date on status
Developing new timelines and renegotiating with customer as changes occures occur with special consideration of developers' workload
Coordinating with PreClarity on implementation of parsers, conveying volume, file complexity, file format, lab implementation timeline, and production implementation
Working with developers to ensure timely delivery of extracts, which may require initiating process to deliver files to network locations where path has not been established
Refer to the client to determine business priority of each feed
Regular status updates (via Redmine or Jira)
Roadblock/bottleneck removal
Customer request tracking and support
Other tasks as necessary for the successful implementation of feeds into X-Mine
Minimum
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
Telecommunications experience highly preferred
High interest in learning/using BI/DW technologies (Netezza and/or Hadoop knowledge/experience preferred)
Understanding of the SDLC
Project management methodology knowledge/experience
Desire to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills
Effective analytical, problem solving, and research skills
Passion for learning and career growth
Willingness to travel preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
