Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Microsoft Cloud and our customers.
We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects and operations of those assets.
We are looking to fill the critical role of Senior Logistics Manager - Work Process & Transportation Senior Manager to help strategically build up and operate a new Logistics group for the Global Supply Chain Team.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related field AND 8
years experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations-related rolesOR equivalent experience5
years of working with autonomy via influence across multiple functions and geographies to deliver on complex work processes and systems integration projects related to Logistics 5
years of ERP and related work processes implementation experiences3
years of direct transportation management experience including freight contracting and optimizationOther Requirements:
The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

S.
is USD $112,200 - $194,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 - $213,200 per year.

Manage logistics supply chain models and integrate them into business systems.

Provide insights on current/future tool usage and drive improvements.
Develop strategies for scaling systems and adopting automation.
Vendor Management and Selection:
Oversee end-to-end vendor management processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Define strategies for managing suppliers' performance and relationships.
Innovation:
Set industry standards, advocate for adoption of new technology.
Lead collaborative innovation efforts and showcase innovations applied at Microsoft.
Identify and foster ideas that address supply chain disruptors.
Long-term Optimization Strategy:
Create long-term strategic alignment plans considering industry trends and ROI activities.
Consider enterprise engagement opportunities and future innovations for value optimization.
Contracting and Negotiations:
Provide guidance on contract execution processes and methodologies.
Resolve escalated contract delivery issues and monitor change order impacts.
Lead pricing and negotiation strategies for Logistics purchasing categories.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Foster internal and external partnerships for strategic decisions and deliverables.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
