Job summaryProject Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Ground Test Software Team is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to use their technical expertise to create, execute, and optimize test plans and automation to take satellites through functional testing, spacecraft validation, and chart the path to reliably integrating and launching satellites.
Key job responsibilities Create and execute test plans with high quality test cases for straightforward scenarios involving one or more product components and features.
Perform initial defect triage and root cause analysis.
Correctly log defects and provide relevant data to partner teams so they can address issues.
Test change requests (e.
g.
, addition, removal, or modification to existing features etc.
) and provide recommendations on how the change might impact test scope and/or product behavior.
Debug, troubleshoot, create and maintain test automation scripts.
Create simple tools to reduce manual effort or more accurately audit component or improve feature quality.
