If so, then we would love to talk!Key job responsibilitieso Conducts investigations of working conditions in places of employment for the prevention of occupational disease and industrial health hazards, with specific reference to chemicals, noise, and other potential worker health hazards.
o Prepare and execute sampling plans to include determination of appropriate analytic methods, equipment selection, calibration, laboratory analysis, and results interpretations.
o Provide technical assistance and support and serve as key point of contact for safety issues and events globally.
o Leads or participates in interdisciplinary teams to create and implement new or improved safety and health standards, documentation and processes.
o Effectively communicates and interprets worker safety standards, regulations, and new initiatives throughout the organization.
o Collaborate with colleagues across multiple disciplines within the company to assure effective program implementation and cohesiveness.
o Lead or participate in incident investigations or reviews.
o Promote the successful integration of safety and health risk management into key business operations, processes and results.
o Conduct / facilitate audits and assessments and identify, implement or partner with sites and business functions to implement effective corrections and controls.
o Perform data analytics on company and industry safety and health information to drive improvement initiatives.
o Promotes health and safety awareness throughout the organization though effective employee communications, participation, and programming.
o Assist in the coordination of safety due diligence for pre and post integration of new acquisitions.

A day in the lifeBased in Redmond, WA, the Industrial Hygienist role will develop and support Project Kuiper's health and safety compliance programs under supervision of the EHS Manager.
Supporting the Project Kuiper's personnel in the development, testing, and manufacture of space hardware, this role will include developing new programs that strengthen our program's safety compliance and risk management processes.
This role is accountable for supporting development and implementation of safety and health programs, tools and standards in line with Amazon's Global EHS policies.
Responsibilities include training and communication in a manner that ensures compliance to regulatory and internal standards, as well as business needs.
Key to this role is building and maintaining strong relationships with all levels of the organization from leadership to individual workers to support them in determining best in class methods to achieve compliance to Amazon's safety and health requirements.
