Principal Security Engineer - Kuiper, Project Kuiper Security
Job summary Are you excited at the prospect of building and securing a state-of-the-art global communications network? Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We're looking for a Principal Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in understanding customer requirements and implementing end-to-end security across the entire Kuiper infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be a deeply experienced and hands-on security expert, familiar with the design and implementation of highly secure broadband telecommunication services for the most demanding consumer, enterprise, telecom, transportation and government customers across the globe.
They will assure the protection of customer information throughout the network, design and enforce security boundaries, proactively identify and mitigate threats at all levels of the stack, and prevent unauthorized intrusion and other malicious or fraudulent behavior.
This individual will work with hardware, software and product management teams to design the systems, protocols, security controls and processes that keep protect customer data and keep our systems secure.
The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge, ranging from hardware to software, front-end to back-end systems, and all points in between.
They prioritize well, communicate clearly and have a track record of big delivery.
They will be a positive influencer throughout the organization and domain expert that drives rapid decisions and creates simple solutions to solve complex technical problems and meet business goals.
