As we continue to innovate on behalf of our customers, we are looking for a UX Designer who is comfortable crafting world class experiences to make it easy for Database Developers and Data Scientists to develop their applications to provide insight from data analytics.
As a UX Designer, you will have a direct impact on the user experience of the users of the Redshift Data Warehouse and Analytics service at AWS.
You have deep design background that you can leverage to re-imagine the database and data transformation developer experience for our users.
We are looking for a user experience designer that loves learning, and is passionate about conceiving experiences in the abstract and then driving that vision into solid design deliverables such as complex workflows, wireframes, user interface designs, interaction models, and prototypes.
You have comprehensive understanding of the current state of data analytics products and best practices, with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design and functionality.
You are detail-oriented, comfortable working on highly technical team, skilled in using data to make decisions and able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

In your day-to-day job you will:
Deliver user-centered designs (including wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications, and prototypes), informed by customer research, and market analysis across multiple devices and platformsParticipate in the planning process for new features and projects while collaborating with an agile, multi-disciplinary team including product managers and UI engineers and synthesize the various input to develop a consistent user experience.
Introduce, develop, and ensure best design practices, processes and communicate quality expectations organizationallyOwn the production of world-class deliverables and documents for presentation to engineers, managers, peer design teams, and senior executives.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
