If so, then we would love to talk!Key job responsibilitiesThe Kuiper team is looking for a Logistics Manager - Outbound Transportation to design, implement and lead processes, systems and the external supply chain to manage domestic and international outbound freight and third-party logistics services.
The ideal candidate has experience in global logistics, trade compliance, operational experience, has great business acumen and judgment, analytical abilities, written and verbal communication skills, and most importantly, a proven record of implementing scalable logistics programs.
They will have a bias toward data driven decision making, be comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple projects, be able to think big and creatively (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.
Specifically, in this role you will:
Own and lead all Kuiper outbound and third-party logistics programsWork with Manufacturing Operations and Inventory Management to develop and implement the Kuiper inventory and logistics processes, systems and controlsScale logistics capabilities and capacities to meet Kuiper objectives with increasing volumesWork with Export Control and Global Trade Services to design processes and systems to ensure regulatory and trade complianceSelect and manage internal and external third party freight and logistics suppliersExtract insights from data and be able to communicate appropriate triggers and actionsExhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experienceInfluence supplier selections and engineering design decisions to factor sustainable qualityInfluence supplier investments in continuous improvement to improve results at continually lower costs and risksPrepare and provide data driven reviews to management with a focus on optimizing the supply chain for expediency and securityRepresent Kuiper Supply Chain on cross-functional initiatives.
