Supply Chain Security Specialist, Kuiper Program Security
Amazon Corporate Security's (ACS) Prototype Security team is searching for a Supply Chain Security (SCS) Specialist who is able to provide direct tactical support for the Amazon Project Kuiper team.
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

This position will assist in developing the Supply Chain Security (SCS) program for Project Kuiper, coordinate with various product teams, and ensure consistent protection and monitoring of all Kuiper prototype intellectual property (IP) across the supply chain.
Additionally, the person selected for this position will implement strategies to mitigate risk Kuiper prototype IP, and develop/implement shipping processes and procedures.

This position will report to the Prototype Security - Supply Chain Security Manager.
Key job responsibilitieso Assists with developing specific shipping, tracking, and material movement processes for sensitive Kuiper intellectual property and provides shipping guidance to Kuiper program team members o Provides secure shipping assessments and reports findings to ACS Kuiper Security leadership o Partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure development of overall risk mitigation and program integrationo Develops relationships with vendor partners to ensure service delivery of Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements from vendor to purchasero Works cross functionally with peers in Legal, Logistics, Trade & Compliance, EHS, and Security to establish scalable Prototype Security standardso Assists with conducting site security audits at 3rd party partner sites (as assigned), key distribution or supply chain partners, and tracking to closure of any associated action itemso Responds to crisis, emergency and/or disaster recovery issues that have impact on the Kuiper programo Assists with developing and implementing security contract language to enhance the security of Kuiper IPo Assist in the development of Kuiper supply chain security awareness materials to include online training modules, educational posters and handout materials.
Provide training sessions to the employee population across the Kuiper programo Evaluate, analyze, and utilize metrics to assist in the development of policies that address Kuiper program needso Works closely with cross functional stakeholders that actively track Kuiper assets in transit utilizing GPS tracking technologyA day in the lifeThe day-to-day responsibilities of this job include significant amounts of coordination with Amazon employees, logistics and third-party vendors to coordinate services, execute operations, and document all aspects of the security processes utilized and capture associated metrics.
This position involves working closely with other teams involved in the management of programs in order to gather the information necessary to identify services which enhance security and determine a scalable solution for delivering them.
