Amazon's Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Key job responsibilitiesThe role has the primary responsibility of ensuring material availability to support production and engineering schedules.
Other responsibilities for the Buyer include managing inventory levels, supporting material/product level revisions, interacting/coordinating with suppliers on a variety of topics ensuring compliance and supporting other business functions as required.
o Monitor status of open orders to ensure on-time delivery of all items ordered, including timely resolution, communication.
o Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule and/or inventory changes.
o Recommend and establish optimal inventory levels based on approved exposure inventory along with production and engineering schedules based on material lead times.
o Coordinate material flows throughout production/bill of material (BOM) changes, obsolescence, and the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials due to new product development.
o Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including shipping, receiving, material handling and other duties as assigned.
o Ensure and promote compliance to Company and Procurement policies and procedures.
o Understand and comply with all federal acquisition regulation (FAR), defense federal acquisition regulation supplement (DFAR), and international traffic in arms (ITAR) flow down requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
