Sr. Integration Technician, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are seeking talented Integration Technicians to lead development and production integration and test activities of the Kuiper satellite.
Key job responsibilitiesIntegration and test of the Kuiper satellite and various complex subassemblies in a cleanroom and ESD controlled environmentRigging and critical lifts of bulky, sensitive hardwareUse precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, multimeters, optical inspection devices, micrometers and calipersRead, create and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentationPerform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions, some of which may be ambiguous or incomplete in natureRun functional and environmental testing on units, including some advanced troubleshooting operationsUse computer software programs for controlling testsCheck and inspect your work, as well as others, after completion to ensure engineering and quality standards are met per the drawing and work instruction requirementsCollaborate with manufacturing, design and test engineers to develop, document and complete activities, including continuous improvement opportunitiesPerform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient, safe and effective work environmentExport Control Requirement:

A day in the lifeThe Sr.
Integration Technician will work closely with cross-functional engineering, test, quality and operations teams on both first-article hardware development and production hardware integration processes.
This position requires skill and experience in a variety of areas, including mechanical assembly, avionics integration, rigging, electrical checkouts and environmental testing.
In short, you will be responsible for a majority of the most critical tasks to build the Kuiper satellite, ensuring high quality, workmanship and safety standards are adhered to on a daily basis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
