Receiving and shipping all items that come through that warehouse through coordination with the main Office.
Package and palletize shipments for pickup by common carrier, small parcel, and customer will calls.
Manage shipment, UPS and will call paperwork.
Manage all inventory; receiving, shipping, and organization.
Learn and assist in applying finishes to castings, which is comprised of powder coat application, and Oil-Baked finish application.
Small product modifications such as drilling, cutting, and straightening of small grates.
Maintain warehouse space and the equipment by communicating needs for maintenance and supplies to be ordered.
Use of forklift, pallet jack, and gantry crane Shipping and Receiving deliveries Apply finishes as needed to products- Powdercoat, Oil Baked finish, and patina Perform small product modifications such as drilling, cutting and straightening of grates Help process, coordinate, communicate, and manage in-flow of shipping and finishing purchase orders from central office Setup layout and manage and organize inventory to ensure space utilization Keep the warehouse clean Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner Facilitate communications between office and warehouse as needed for updates on project deadlines, product issues, or needs at the warehouse through email, phone calls, fax, and text message.
Maintain shipping and finish material stock needed for packaging and finishing Report project status updates to project manager, and to shipping manager, as applicable Help problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve processes, as applicable Quality control for all items that come in from differing vendors Communicate with drivers, and customers for daily pickups and deliveries Job Type:
