Critical Lifts Technician II, Project Kuiper
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are seeking talented Critical Lift Technicians to lead special rigging and transportation activities of the Kuiper satellite and satellite equipment.
Key job responsibilities- Perform and lead rigging and critical lifts of bulky, sensitive hardware- Develop a deep knowledge of proper and safe rigging uses for both Lifting and Handling gear.
- Obtain licenses as a crane, forklift, aerial work platform and specialty crane operator - Operate and maintain cranes, forklifts, aerial work platforms and specialty cranes in a clean-room environment- Run pre-lift safety briefings with up to 10 people.
- Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, multimeters, optical inspection devices, micrometers and calipers- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation- Perform work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop and document activities, including continuous improvement opportunities- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient, safe and effective work environmentExport Control Requirement:

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $33.
50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.
