MFG Assembly Technician, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
One of the most ambitious missions that Kuiper has undertaken to date, the Kuiper satellite constellation, is our solution to providing reliable internet to the entire world.
We are looking for talented technicians to help full-scale production of the Kuiper satellites.

Key job responsibilities- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations - Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber-optics, and PCBAs- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems- Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory- You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety proceduresAdditional Requirements:
- Willing to work all shifts (days, evenings, staggered shifts) overtime and weekends as needed.
Estimated shift times 1st shift:
8am-4:
30PM Shift will vary, depending on program needs- Flexible working/commuting in between site locations- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position- Able to lift-up to 25lbs.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $37/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.
