What you will do:
As the Training Coordinator you will deliver and track technical training.
You will establish training and education modules and ensure consistency in the delivery of technical training and on-boarding.
Provides train-the-trainer program and qualifies all area trainers for content delivery.
Partners with the functional area, develops training materials, and knowledge assessments, for area standard operation procedures (SOP) and coordinates knowledge assessment.
Utilizes training authoring and multimedia tools and software for assigned development projects.
Keeps abreast of training and development research, learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
Will conduct onboarding for new manufacturing team members.
Will train assemblers to a variety of products across multiple lines using standard and/or non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.
Will work from engineering schematics, blueprints, and/or follow documents assembly procedures.
Will have an active and consistent focus on complete adherence to established quality procedures - individual and team performance.
Will serve as a team leader with authority limited to product-specific concerns and/or procedural compliance in accordance with guidance provided by operations leadership Will instruct trainees on all aspects such as, ERP, quality documents through quality system, LEAN principals, and safety.
Will understand and present MDI metrics to new and existing team members.
Will work with Supervisors and Engineering on continuous improvement initiatives Will support and contribute to standard work instruction creation and maintenance.
Will make recommendations on eligibility of trainees to progress to an open assignment.
Will partner with leadership to deliver on departmental requirements, needs, and goals.
Will conduct regular GEMBA walks to ensure training is applied.
Will conduct evaluation of team members on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training team members.
Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements What you need:
High School Degree or GED Required 5 years of manufacturing experience Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred
Qualifications:
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to motivate and lead cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 6S concepts $36.
70 per hour plus bonus eligible
