Principal Tech Program Manager, Kuiper BizOps

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO).
Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be at the forefront of designing, building, and launching technology products and services for the end to end customer journey from lead generation to customer support.
This will include integrations into upstream and downstream systems.
The TPM will be the single threaded owner (STO) for large, complex, and strategic eCommerce systems and solutions.
They will develop a common vision and scope, establish timelines, manage the critical path, and drive system readiness to enable seller of record (SOR) and country launch requirements are achieved on time.
The role will work in partnership with Business, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Tax, Accounting, AWS, and Amazon teams to execute the plan.
Key job responsibilitiesThe successful candidate plays the role of a business liaison, program owner, and own the delivery of systems to launch Kuiper Commercial Services globally.
- Manage and lead the program across business, engineering, finance, legal, accounting, and tax teams.
- Is highly structured and programmatic, to make high judgement decisions, create strategic plans, and execute them flawlessly.
- Is able to anticipate challenges and mitigate risks and drive paths to green.
- Program manage business requirements, launch plans, test cases, UATs, and priorities to launch product features across offer to activate, order to cash, and customer support systems.
- Own tangible goals, milestones, and deliverables to successfully deliver systems readiness globally.
- Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and facilitate collaboration across multiple teams.
- Provide visibility and run business reviews with VPs, Directors, and senior leaders across Amazon.
- Thrive on ambiguity and have a track record of delivering large, global, and complex technology products and programs.
- Have the ability to think and move quickly and is inspired to build mechanisms to simplify and continuously innovate.
- Demonstrates analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
