Space Simulation Technician - 2nd Shift , Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO).
Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The Space Simulation team will provide screening and testing of satellite hardware.
The lab has the capability to perform testing in the R&D, Proto-Flight, Qualification and Flight test phases.
This will be done utilizing equipment in the lab such as electrodynamic shakers, thermal vacuum chambers, thermal cycling chambers and other equipment to simulate the space environment.
As a Space Simulation Lab Support Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks throughout the facility.

Key job responsibilities- Operation of environmental test chambers (Thermal cycling, vacuum, HALT/HASS)- Install instrumentation on various types of hardware and fixtures- Execute electronic test procedures for component and system level testing- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated- Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems- Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety proceduresExport Control Requirement:

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $33.
50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.
