CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGERAs a member of the construction projects team, you will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, build, and activate infrastructure for a variety of projects at the Starlink production facility. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of new facility construction projects, renovation projects and strategic planning of office and production space. You will work with construction project managers, facility engineers, designers, facilities and maintenance team, vendors and internal partners/customers to support these goals. You will have the opportunity to drive positive change and own projects from start to finish, with the goal of making the SpaceX campus a world-class manufacturing facility. This position is based in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities:Oversee and own full lifecycle of projects to achieve on-time and under budget delivery with customer satisfaction. The following project management responsibilities are applicable:
Provide guidance and input on preliminary scope/customer requests, including ROM costsGather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors or contractorsEvaluate competitive bids as appropriateReview proposals for accuracy, identify and track cost saving suggestions or improvementsRecommend best path of actionDevelop the final cost and schedule for the projectImplement controls as needed to track and manage cost, schedule and scopeWrite and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-outFacilitate city, county, building owner, and governmental approvalsResolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real timeTrack and approve invoicing of workManage all aspects of multi-discipline construction projects in the fieldCoordinate with end user and facilities team for building operations and maintenanceManage night shift/early morning contractors as project work requiresTake on new projects ad-hoc as the business needsManage tools, documentation and folder systems relating to the organization of our construction projectsInteract with contractors, fabricators, and internal customersReview and manage project request tickets; create work orders when needed and manage to completionPrepare and coordinate with operation teams for annual safety, real property and/or landlord property inspections. Qualifications:10
years of professional experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or facilities managementPREFERRED SKILLS AND

Benefits:Pay range: Sr. Construction Project Manager: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
