As a Principal Compliance Program Manager in cloud engineering, you will be at the center of Microsoft's decision making and execution on the challenging regulatory compliance landscape facing cloud customers and cloud providers today.
You will be working with our most important customers and with our senior leaders in cloud engineering to drive Microsoft and customer decision making regarding our shared responsibility to navigate the regulatory compliance landscape.
This role has global scope and global impact while offering you the ability to control your own schedule and work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 6
years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.
3
years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
2
years of experience evaluating and implementing technological requirements of Laws and regulations.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Qualifications:
Experience working globally, dealing with international business scenarios, cross time zone activity, and diverse cultural expectations.
Experience talking to and working with government regulators.
Specific knowledge of the compliance relevant aspects of Microsoft's cloud offeringsTechnical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.
S.
is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
