SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Microsoft Azure Storage is a highly distributed, massively scalable, and ubiquitously accessible cloud storage platform.
Azure storage already runs at Exascale (storing Exabytes of data) and we will scale our designs over the next decade to support Zettascale (storing Zettabytes of data).
As a Senior Software Engineer , within Azure Storage, the Ultra Disk team (Ultra Disk Team) provides a next-generation block storage platform for the most demanding cloud storage workloads.

We are looking for an accomplished developer to help advance our storage solution, and work closely with our global development group to push the limits of what cloud storage can offer to our customers.

Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4
years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience4
years of software development experience including software design, data structures, testing, debugging and native code development in C/C++.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Experience developing software for Windows in C/C+
(Win32, WDM, WDF, etc.
)Experience with systems/OS engineering, multi-threaded programming, and/or distributed systems.
Experience in data storage, file systems, and/or networking.
Experience developing backend cloud services.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.
S.
is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
