Pay Rate: $67/hr to $68/hr
Description:
Our client Aerospace Project is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Aerospace team is looking for a Hardware Delivery leader to support business and engineering stakeholders in driving performance and delivery assurance with critical technology and service suppliers, and others as needed to execute on project objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record managing tight dead-lines, finding ways to expedite material, reporting delivery KPIs, ensuring vendor performance, influencing new systems adoption (e.g. E2Open) and driving root-cause analysis.
Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while knowing how to prioritize a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders needs will be an advantage.

Travel:
Up to 50% travel required.(this job will require travel across the US. It likely will not be 50%, but it s a possibility.)
Key job
Responsibilities:
Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, program management, and supply chain to ensure material arrives on-time for program builds.
Ensure vendor delivery performance on committed deliveries and agreed lead-times.
Expedite material as needed by the business.
Communicate delivery KPI s to drive supplier business reviews and enforce contractual obligations.
Develop root-cause analysis and corrective actions when delivery performance is not meeting expectation.
Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions and development of processes to resolve internal challenges causing needs to expedite or vendors to push-out commit dates.
Support identification of supply risks and bottlenecks impacting deliveries at vendors, and communicate them to Global Category Managers.

Day to Day:
Work with engineering leaders, business leaders, Pms and supply chain to ensure material arrives on-time
Work with vendors to ensure vendor delivery
Expedite materials
Communicate delivery KPIs
Develop root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Support delivery teams
Support identification of supply risk and bottleneck impacting deliveries, and communicate the global category managers
Basic
Qualifications:
7
years of cumulative experience in manufacturing, operations or supply chain environment.
5
years of experience in supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing, commodity management or program management.
5
years of experience driving vendor performance and improvements, developing and reporting delivery scorecards/KPIs, and driving root-cause analysis.
Knowledge of ERP and Supply Chain platforms (e.g. SAP and E2Open).
Must Haves:
Lots of experience in manufacturing, operations or supply chain environment (7
years This is an client L6 Position, so someone more senior is needed)
If their primary experience is in manufacturing or operations, then a big chunk of experience must be involving supply chain
Experience with supply chain management, planning, strategic sourcing (rather than tactical), or commodity management (5
year)
They don t have to have a ton of experience with contract and negotiation more experience with overall supply chain management in a technical/mechanical realm
Lots of Knowledge of processes within supply chain
Automating tools, lean methologies, root cause analysis, delivery KPIs, understanding vendor Pos,
ERPs and supply chain platforms (ex. SAP or E2Open)
Preferred
Qualifications:

years of driving process improvements experience.
Masters degree (e.g. Supply Chain, Operations, MBA or similar).
Experience with six sigma and lean methodologies.
Plusses:
Engineering background
Aerospace companies preferred (open to people from industrial or automation companies)
