Principal Program Manager

Microsoft is seeking a experienced Principal Program Manager to lead the development of our next-generation Observability data pipeline service solution.
This innovative platform will be integral to our Azure Cloud services, enabling the transfer of exabytes of data daily across a diverse range of sources and destinations for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and advanced analytics.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in evolving the Azure Monitor solution, ensuring it meets the complex demands of hundreds of thousands of customers, both internal and external.

Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 6
years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.
3
years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred
Qualifications:

years in technical product or program management, with engineering background.
Experience in managing large-scale, complex technology projects, especially those involving big data, cloud services, and AI/ML technologies.
Experience with Azure services, data center technologies, and familiarity with competing cloud platforms.
Effective leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing and gaining buy-in at multiple levels across different divisions and cultures.
Experience with innovative problem-solving, analytical thinking, and an ability to manage multiple, dynamic initiatives simultaneously.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.
S.
is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Lead the implementation of a cutting-edge data pipeline capable of handling exabytes of data daily.
Empower customers by allowing them to define advanced extensability transformations, enhancing the utility and customization of the data pipeline.

Continuously monitor project progress, identifying risks and obstacles early and devising effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
