Sr. Interaction Visual Designer
Responsible for generating design ideas, conceptualizing, designing and implementing prototypes, mock ups, task analysis, personas, user flows, wireframes and style guides. Other aspects of the
position
requires presenting and selling designs to product group, understanding customer needs and motivations and integrating them into product design to contribute to user features and functionality. Must have the ability to follow the Microsoft design language and also utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines and design specifications.
Portfolio showcasing interaction design work is needed.
The role & requirements:
5 plus year's work related experience required with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a lead role.
Strong knowledge of user interface and functionality design required. Strong creative skills and ability to generate design ideas required.
Passion for information design and information visualization and have an ability to visualize complex sets of data in ways that are easy to comprehend.
Highly detail-oriented with a passion for pixel perfection, self-motivated, highly organized, able to work in a team environment that is fast-paced with multiple projects.
Must have the ability to understand and integrate customer needs and motivations into specific areas of product design to contribute to user features and functionality.
Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
Must have ability to own and drive projects.

Adobe Creative Suite
PowerPoint for design iterations
Balsamiq for design iterations

A deep/solid understanding of User Experience and User Interface Design
Visually solve a workflow
Understanding of Microsoft technology (Microsoft account)
Understanding of Microsoft visual language & brand guidelines (grid, type, colors)

Team dynamic:
Manager meets with the designer to review the work, allow them time to iterate, and later meet to review
Able to rationalize a design in front of different teams and business groups
Senior design experience preferred/required
Nice to have: HTML and CSS experience
