The candidate will be advising HR professionals and business leaders about U.S. employment and labor law issues including discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour, ADA/FMLA, noncompete/trade secrets and breach of contract. Will be handling pre-litigation demand letters and agency charges received from current and former employees and/or their counsel, and work with Employment Law Group leadership to devise and manage regarding pre-litigation strategy. Providing employment law advice regarding and directing internal investigations. Developing and reviewing written HR policies and processes, templates, intranet sites, and training materials. Developing and delivering legal training for HR generalists and company managers.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
