Overview
John Bean Technologies (JBT) is looking for innovative programmers to join our DSI staff in our Redmond, WA facility. We are international market leaders in supporting and transforming the food processing industry. We are a fast growing company looking to expand our team.
Position
Responsibilities:
Write machine control real-time software to drive robotic water jet cutting equipment and much more for the food processing industry. Work in a small group where the responsibilities are broad and the expectations are high. Analyze problems then formulate and execute commercially successful solutions.
Skills we need, use or teach:
Broad software engineering experience is needed, from overall system architecture to module design, coding and testing. The software skills we work with include:
Most of our work is with C/C++, but we use other languages as well
We use the QNX Momentics development environment (similar to Eclipse, IntelliJ, NetBeans, etc.)
We apply machine vision for image processing, object recognition, etc.
We use the QNX 6.x real-time operating system (similar to RTLinux, VxWorks, etc.)
We perform multi-core development and debugging in multiprocessor and multithreaded environments
We interface with industrial controls for motion control, data acquisition, assorted interfaces, etc.
We use the QNX Phab/Photon GUI/HMI (similar to QT, Crank Storyboard and OpenGL). A good look-n-feel touch is a plus. New HMI systems to be used in the future
We use applied math, computational geometry and mathematical optimization algorithms
We have corporate wide initiatives in IoT and big data (OPC-UA , Kaa, Casandra and much more)Job Requirements: JBT CORPORATION

We are looking for people with a Bachelor or master's degree in computer science or related technical field, with 2-5 years in work experience minimum in C/C+

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
