We are looking for a results-oriented individual to procure critical hardware for the teams responsible for our cutting edge satellite systems.
This role operates in a fast paced environment, where priorities change often.
This individual will respond to internal stakeholders quickly, provide frequent and accurate status updates, and have a high aptitude for driving tasks to completion independently.
Additionally, this individual will be responsible for gathering the import and export codes from suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Support the Commodity Management team with maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance, addressing supply issues, and developing new products and programs.
Execute tactical order management Conduct requests for proposal/quote/information to source indirect equipment, materials and supplies Negotiate non-disclosure and commercial agreements with suppliers Identify and deliver process improvements to automate tactical functions and reduce time spent on tactical functions Manage assigned indirect commodity categories and suppliers Manage supplier or customer escalations to resolutionExport Control Requirement:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
