Sr. Global Supply Manager
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Role:
Project Kuiper seeks a Global Supply Manager to plan and deliver high-quality space-qualified components and get the right materials to the right place at the right time.
The Global Supply Manager will plan and ensure timely delivery of materials for satellite development and manufacture.
The Global Supply Manager should have a strong background in supply planning, purchasing and material planning systems, and supplier performance tracking and management.
The Global Supply Manager will be responsible for developing and executing material plans in a number of areas including electrical components, mechanical hardware, and associated sub-assemblies in support of multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Understand and effectively translate demand planning requirements across multiple programs in multiple geographies to accurate supply forecasts Create and clearly communicate supply plans, priorities, and status to multiple internal and external stakeholders Manage supplier performance to forecasts Design, develop and maintain scalable mechanisms like analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that provide accurate visibility into supply health and drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
Implement planning and supplier management system/process improvements Execute strategic business objectives while working with key internal and external stakeholders to build and improve the supply chain Optimize product availability within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of the supply chain Manage multiple projects - prioritizing, planning, delegating appropriate tasks and deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities Exhibit exceptional program management skills, customer obsession and clear and concise communication skills.
