Sr. BI Engineer , Senior Business Intelligence Engineer Project Kuiper SPACE PROGRAM
Job summaryProject Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Kuiper sourcing and supply chain team are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to understand the data-needs of the supply chain operation.
We are actively building out the business analytical tools and capabilities to ensure that sourcing and supply chain team are able to answer hard questions with real data.
This role will interact with internal key stakeholders to develop a dash board reporting metrics to measure supply chain performance.
Key job responsibilitiesThis role will also interact with external supply base to implement data collecting and reporting process tool to facilitate speedy business-decision making process.
A successful individual should be highly collaborative and passionate about working with big data sets.
Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage.
Specifically, in this role you will:
o Partner with sourcing, operations and business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs.
o Enable effective and fast-paced decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
o Design, develop, maintain, and improve scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc.
o Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
o Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
o Support automation of business processes to allow the team scale.
o Lead projects with analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions.
o Effectively lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture and follow-up activity coordinationo Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
